I have been curious and envious about Android 12 and urging on Android 12 features.

After being rolled out to select Google Pixel devices last year, Android 12 is now available for various smartphones from Samsung, LG, Realme, Nokia, Motorola, Asus, Lenovo, OPPO and others. If your phone qualifies, the Android 12 upgrade could arrive shortly. Android 12 was introduced to the public in October of last year, making it the twentieth version in the series. It is thought to be more adaptable, secure, and intuitive than ever before. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new in Android 12 if you’re planning on trying out the latest stable version of Android.

What's new in Android 12 features
Colors can be customized

Android 12 allows you to customize the colors, forms, brightness, and motion. It can assist you in customizing the screen to your specific tastes and preferences. Changes you make across the ecosystem, including apps, widgets, and notifications, will be reflected automatically. Advanced color extraction methods are used to power this function.

Smoother user interface

The user interface has been redesigned to be faster and more responsive. The OS was created with increased system performance in mind, ensuring that taps, swipes, and scrolls are as fluid and lag-free as possible.

New accessibility features

Android 12 brings a slew of new accessibility features to the table. Area magnification, extra dimming for low-light use, bold text view, and color correction are all included.

Notifications for the camera and microphone

With Android 12, apps won’t be able to access your microphone or camera invisibly. A notification will appear on the status bar if an app gains access to your microphone or camera. You will have complete control over whether the microphone and camera are turned on or off.

Approximate location

Some apps can push you to share your exact location. Android 12 provides a workaround in the form of a ‘approximate location’ option. You may select which apps have access to your exact location and which simply have access to your estimated location.

A Private Compute Core

It has been added to Android 12 to keep this data safe from nosy apps. A smartphone generates large volumes of background data, some of which may contain sensitive or private information. It is self-contained and independent of the operating system. This core can only be accessed with the explicit permission of the user.

Improved gaming

You can tailor your gaming experience to optimize performance or battery life. Additionally, you have the option to begin playing the game as it is being downloaded.

The scrolling screenshot feature in Android 12 allows you to capture the full page, regardless of how long it is.

Easy phone switch

Switching to a new phone has never been easier thanks to Android 12.
