On July 29, 2023, at 10 AM, content creators from the scenic province of Cavite gathered at the picturesque “Torres Farm Hotel and Resort” in Naic Cavite for a one-day event filled with knowledge-sharing, networking, and unforgettable experiences.
The event, aptly named “CAVCON,” was a vibrant community of creators, brought together by the collective passion for content creation and storytelling. Made possible by esteemed event partners, Torres Farm Hotel and Resort, Cavite Tourism, Vice Governor Athena Tolentino, TikTok, and Biyaheng South, CAVCON was a sub-conference of SOUTHCON, spearheaded by the talented Millie Manahan and her team, alongside esteemed media partners.

CAVCON was designed with content creators in mind, providing an enriching program dedicated to honing their skills and forging valuable connections. Upon arrival, attendees were provided with exclusive CAVCON Identification Cards, which served as a symbol of camaraderie among like-minded individuals. One of the highlights of CAVCON was the Creator Workshop, where attendees had the privilege to learn from industry experts. Leading the discussions was none other than ChardieB, one of the biggest content creators of TikTok Philippines. ChardieB delved into unlocking one’s full potential as a content creator, sharing invaluable insights on content creation and audience engagement. The workshop was further enriched by another two esteemed guest speakers.
First up was John Paulo Caparros, a PR professional, and leader of the Southeast Asia region. His talk centered around cultivating professionalism and fostering healthy relationships between brands and creative entrepreneurs. Paulo’s expertise resonated with the audience, offering practical tips to navigate the competitive landscape of content creation.
Next on stage was Krisa Alcoriza from TikTok Philippines, who enthralled the crowd with her discussion on staying relevant, embracing trends, and identifying the right niche as a content creator. Krisa’s advice proved indispensable for those looking to make a mark in the dynamic world of social media.
