As I sit here, reflecting on my life’s journey, I can hardly believe how far I have come before reaching Life at 30. From a young man fresh out of college to a seasoned Software Engineer, turning 30 years old feels like a monumental milestone. Looking back, my path has been anything but ordinary, and it’s been filled with challenges, triumphs, and, above all, the desire to give the best life to my parents.
Doors that changed my world Pre – Life at 30
My story began with humble beginnings, working night shifts in a call center to make ends meet. The monotony of the job and the struggles of managing finances were no easy feat, but it instilled in me a sense of resilience that would serve me well in the years to come.
It all began when I stepped into the world of call centers. Working late nights, handling irate customers, and striving to make ends meet were all part of the package. But through those difficult times, I learned the value of perseverance and the importance of hard work. Little did I know, those experiences would become the foundation for my future successes.
Fast forward a couple of years, and I found myself pursuing a career in software engineering. The world of code opened up to me like a vast universe of possibilities. With determination in my heart, I delved deep into the realms of programming languages, problem-solving, and innovation. The challenges were significant, but they ignited a passion within me that continues to burn brightly to this day.
Before Life at 30: The unsaid commitment of a Young Adam
As I honed my skills in the tech industry, I saw a glimmer of hope – a chance to provide my parents with the life they truly deserve. My parents, now in their 60s, have been my pillars of strength throughout my life. They sacrificed their dreams to give me the best opportunities. It was time to repay that love and care.
Balancing the demands of my career with the responsibility of caring for my parents wasn’t easy. There were days when exhaustion weighed me down, but their unwavering support propelled me forward. I knew that I couldn’t let the challenges deter me from my goal. Now that I am nearing Life at 30, I get to add more goals in life to keep myself on being passionate.
With each passing year, I grew more proficient in my field, and my dedication began to bear fruit. Financial stability gradually came my way, and I started building a life that I could share with my parents. I watched their faces light up as I surprised them with gifts, family vacations, unwinding and drinking coffee somewhere and most importantly, the gift of time and love.
From call center to software engineer
I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me to this pivotal moment in my Life at 30. From a call center agent to a seasoned software engineer, and now leading a team of brilliant minds in the tech industry while pursuing my long-awaited diploma in Computer Science, the path has been filled with twists, turns, and above all, determination.
As fate would have it, I found myself drawn to the world of software engineering. With a heart full of curiosity and a hunger for knowledge, I took the plunge and embarked on a journey of code, algorithms, and innovation. The challenges were abundant, but I embraced them wholeheartedly, knowing they were stepping stones to a brighter future.
Over the years, my dedication and passion for my craft bore fruit, and I found myself leading a team of talented software engineers. It was a dream come true – not just for me but for my parents, who have always been my guiding light.
The Path that changed my family’s life
But my journey was far from complete even at Life at 30. Despite my success in the tech industry, there was a part of me that yearned for more – a sense of accomplishment that could only come with earning a college diploma. So, I made a bold decision to pursue my degree in Computer Science at Emilio Aguinaldo College – Cavite, while juggling my responsibilities as a leader in the company.
I am still astonished how things went smoothly or passed by that I was able to survive all at once. Surely because I love what I am doing both from work and at college. Fortunately that I met these people. My blockmates in college who makes my life colorful in college.Assuring my student life is getting lighter with them.
Life at 30: Bidding farewell almost to the calendar
Few more weeks from now I get to see and tell the “Life at 30”, as I turn 30. I can say with pride that I’ve fulfilled a dream. Not only for myself but for the people who mean the world to me. My journey from call centers to code has taught me the power of resilience. The beauty of following one’s passion, and the joy of providing for those who raised you.
But this isn’t the end of my story; it’s merely a new chapter in the book of life. I look forward to more adventures, challenges, and opportunities to grow. I know that I’ll have the unwavering love and support of my parents, as they’ve always had mine.
