If there is one dessert haven in Boracay it would be Lemoni Cafe for me. I discovered them during my stay in Boracay last year of December.

If you are looking for a cafe that serves variety of food from breakfast to dinner, this is one of the cafe you should look for and they are easy to locate.

As I have shared with you on my past blogs, I decided to end my year 2021 in Boracay. Traveling to Cebu, Siargao, Davao then ended in Boracay. It is definitely refreshing and lessen my anxiety from this pandemic since 2020. Since we all know most of the travel guides and travel blogs out there are outdated (due to lockdown, unable to travel that easy compare before), I have decided to discover things on my own on how the new normal is in Boracay.

Luckily, Lemoni Cafe was there to comfort and satisfy my sweet tooth. Believe it or not, every morning I will always tend to go here and by slice of cake and cup of coffee (knowing I got free breakfast in the hotel).

What made me interested here is they serve lunch, snacks, and dinner. Thus, on my third day in Boracay last year, I tried to dine-in here for lunch. This is what I am about to share with you, take note that the following review and food experience is based on my own opinion and based on how I enjoyed the food (as you all know, food is life for me haha!)

What to Order in Lemoni Cafe?

Main course

Norwegian Salmon and Chicken Breast

If you are done with all the fatty meats or bloated from alcohol and just want to feel less guilty on taking lunch the next day after being drowned from alcohol and beer, I highly recommend these two for your main course, either of these. Their Norwegian Salmon comes with sauteed potatoes, spinach, mushrooms and their best “yogurt sauce”. Yes, I cannot even believe I enjoyed their Yogurt sauce. Dipping the salmon or the chicken breast makes this course perfect for me. Spinach is there to kill your guilt and claim you just had a healthy lunch (lol!).

While the Chicken Breast main course is topped with fresh rosemary, sauteed potatoes, red wine reduction. The taste of the red wine makes it perfect with the chicken breast that balances in your mouth to satisfy your meat and protein cravings.

Dessert

Blueberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu

When it comes to dessert, as we all know desserts when you read it backwards is “stressed”. Which is why desserts are for relieving stress, from your work, from the city life, from what we are having right now – pandemic. This is why I can say that Lemoni Cafe is my saver and made my Boracay a perfect experience. Their Blueberry cheesecake is serves with real blueberry chunks or bits and has a strong flavor to balance the sweetness of the cake and creamcheese do not forget on how they present and serve their desserts here, you can really tell they put their hearts and sweetness in it.

The Tiramisu is one of my favorite flavor when it comes to cakes. The serving size says it all, the graham taste together with the creamcheese on its cake plus with the lil hit of lemon on this cake makes it on another level experience.

Drink

Mango Banana Yogurt Honey and Mango Lemon Crush

Since I had my lunch for this review, I ordered something healthy and refreshing to cooldown my lunch. So I ordered these. Of course, one for me and one for my photographer to share with. I had their Mango Banana Yogurt Honey, with its authentic and healthy ingredients, I can definitely say I am less guilty billing out after.

Lemoni Cafe overall review and comment

Rating: 4.5 out of 4.5.

The cafe is above average in terms of prices for their main courses, however, it matches the serving size as well. The staff is there all the time and attentive to their customers which adds up to their star scoring for me. Also, nowadays, it is really difficult to look for a cafe that serves healthy foods. So if you are with your parents who are cautious about their sugar level, they have options in this cafe. The location of this cafe is also the heart of the Boracay – Station 2. Near D Mall and beside Mang Inasal and Steampunk.

Not just that, within just a few steps, you are already on the beach and can enjoy the view and swim. They are also accessible from most of the hotels here in Boracay. You can easily distinguish Lemoni Cafe from its color theme “yellow and green” which is cool in the eyes and best color for summer.
